The International Police Academy (IPA), formerly known as the International Police Organization Academy, is an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) under the UNIPOL International Police University. It is officially registered under the Government University Registrar, No: 7954548. The IPA, as part of the European Union, is recognized as a public institution by the Member States of the European Union. These countries jointly govern and manage the academy, and it operates as an educational establishment under their control, blending both governmental and non-governmental oversight.
