BECOMING A MEMBER

At our International Police Organization Academy, we offer different levels of membership to accommodate individuals with diverse backgrounds and qualifications. Whether you are a law enforcement professional, military service member, or civilian with a passion for serving your community, we welcome you to join our organization.

Qualifications for membership differ depending on your background, as detailed below:

                Police membership :

To become a police member of our organization, you must be a currently serving or retired law enforcement officer with a minimum of several years of experience. You should have completed basic police training and possess knowledge and skills in areas such as firearms, defensive tactics, and emergency response.

                Military membership :

If you are a current or former military service member, you may qualify for our military membership. This level of membership requires the completion of basic military training, with knowledge and skills in areas such as weapons handling, navigation, and survival techniques.

                 Government and Court Personnel :

Government and Court Personnel refer to individuals who are employed working in the government or courts system. This can include a wide range of roles, such as judges, lawyers, law enforcement officers, court clerks, legal assistants, and administrative staff who work in various government agencies or courts. These individuals are responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of their respective roles, which may include enforcing laws, adjudicating disputes, providing legal counsel nationally and internationally, or managing administrative tasks within the government or court system.

                Civilian membership :

Civilians with a passion for supporting law enforcement and serving their community may qualify for our civilian membership. This level of membership is open to individuals with diverse backgrounds and requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in English or other relevant languages may also be required.

               Distance membership :

For individuals who are unable to attend in-person training at our academy, we offer a distance membership option. This level of membership provides access to our online training resources and opportunities to participate in virtual training and events.

We believe that every member of our organization brings unique skills and experiences that contribute to our collective mission of promoting public safety and advancing the law enforcement profession. We encourage you to explore the membership options available and find the one that best suits your background and interests.
