Country Director - Section Nepal.
Purushottam Nepali, also known as Purushottam Sanu, currently holds the esteemed position of Country Director at our International Police Organization Academy. With a distinguished career that surpasses conventional law enforcement responsibilities, Mr. Nepali is celebrated for his outstanding contributions not only in the field of policing but also in the realms of art, culture, and mountaineering.
Law Enforcement Career:
Commenced service as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police in 2063.
Ascended through the ranks, achieving promotions to the positions of Sub-Inspector and Senior Sub-Inspector in subsequent years.
Awards and Honors:
Conferred with "The Interpol Award for Excellence" at the summit of Mount Everest, commemorating Interpol's centenary.
Recognized with the prestigious "Yogendra Smiriti Bravery Award" by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Honored with the esteemed "National Citizen Honour Award" by Vice President Paramanda Jha.
Awarded the distinguished "PIM Nepal Art Award" by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
Received numerous certificates of appreciation and recognition from government bodies, cultural organizations, and eminent dignitaries.
Training Expertise:
Completed extensive training in diverse areas, including mountaineering, trekking, crime investigation, cybercrime, computer hardware and software, police training, arms handling, human rights, VIP security, and radio presentation from IJJB (Germany).
Achievements in Mountaineering:
Achieved historic milestones by conquering Mount Everest, proudly carrying the flags of Nepal Police, Interpol, and Nepali lyricists.
Successfully summited other notable peaks such as Labuche, Gokyo, Kala Patthar, and Nangkartsang Peak.
Artistic and Cultural Contributions:
Pioneered lyricism in the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality National and Tourism promotional song.
Directed a poignant music video dedicated to Pasang Lhamau Sherpa, the first Nepali woman to ascend Mount Everest.
Produced and directed the insightful documentary "Mission Everest."

"This ID card serves as proof of membership in the International Police Academy (IPA), an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) with members working in government, police, and military sectors. Members of the IPA are entitled to certain privileges and immunities under international law, including but not limited to diplomatic privileges and immunities, as well as immunity from civil and criminal jurisdiction in the host country. This card should be honored by all officials in accordance with international law."
