Senior Superintendent Police Shuaib Adam HSC OLY VJ
With a distinguished 23-year career in the Kenya Police, Senior Superintendent Police Shuaib Adam, honored with the National Presidential Military Award and Head of State Commendation (HSC), has evolved into a seasoned Security Consultant and Advisor.
His journey spans various security domains, from risk disaster and safety management to covert investigations and combating illicit trade. Serving as the Operations Director of Intellectual Property Rights investigations, he successfully directed multi-agency operations, seizing over USD one million of counterfeit products in collaboration with major Tobacco companies.
Internationally recognized, he spent nearly two decades as the Regional Security Advisor for Africa at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Holding Canadian Security Guard and Private Investigator Licenses, and a Canadian Firearms License, he seamlessly integrated international experiences, including security coordination for the Atlanta Security Committee during the 1996 Olympic Games.
A 3-time Olympian and holder of multiple Kenya National Records in shooting, his excellence extends to contributions as the Secretary General of the National Association of Kenya Olympians (NAKO) and the Captain of the Swiss Rifle Club Kenya.
In the realm of security consulting, he has lent his expertise to notable organizations such as G4S, Garda World, and the Embassy of Switzerland, offering a unique blend of skills acquired through specialized training in VIP protection, anti-narcotics surveillance, and counter-trafficking of human and wildlife.
His commitment to community service is evident through roles in various associations, including the International Police Association (IPA), Kenya Scouts Association, and the World Olympians Association, where he proudly serves as a World Ambassador.
This journey reflects a dedication to excellence, a passion for security, and a commitment to making a positive impact on a global scale.
"This ID card serves as proof of membership in the International Police Academy (IPA), an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) with members working in government, police, and military sectors. Members of the IPA are entitled to certain privileges and immunities under international law, including but not limited to diplomatic privileges and immunities, as well as immunity from civil and criminal jurisdiction in the host country. This card should be honored by all officials in accordance with international law."
